About this place
Set in the Kaigan district of Minato Ward, not far from Rainbow Bridge, Cafe Superracer has the easygoing feel of an American-style diner cafe, with motorcycle and car magazines lining exposed-concrete walls. While it is well known as a pit stop for touring motorcyclists, the atmosphere remains unpretentious and comfortable, making it just as easy for neighborhood regulars or solo diners to drop in and settle in.
Hearty Signature Burgers and Custom Sides
The house burgers center on robust, coarsely ground patties served inside naturally leavened bread. Options range from the signature Superracer Burger to cheeseburgers, avocado burgers, and stacked double or triple versions for those after a larger meal. Every burger comes with a choice of french fries or a green salad, and the fries can be customized with add-ons such as garlic or nacho cheese.
House-Roasted Pork Cuban Sandwiches and Daily Plates
Alongside the burgers, the Cuban sandwich is another mainstay: house roast pork (pulled pork) layered with pickles, tomato, and cheese inside naturally leavened bread, then pressed and toasted. The kitchen also turns out rotating daily specials, such as pork Thai curry with rice and salad or charcoal-grilled roast pork, offering reliable choices when you want something substantial for lunch.
Drip Coffee and Sweet Treats
For a finish to a meal or an afternoon break, the cafe pours clean hand-drip coffee alongside finely foamed cafe lattes and caramel lattes. Ordering a cup with a homemade dessert, such as pudding, is an easy way to spend an unhurried afternoon at one of the spacious tables.
